First of all I didn't use gessoed oil paint panel. This is my sketch book. Also I used square grid. Not the same grid used here. (I prefer freehand drawing to be the one on oil paint panel) :)

okay. there is a good reason to use the panel gessoed with grey. But let's see how this goes.

yes. You looked at this as a 2d picture. Nota as a 3d objects. Study shapes and forms. also draw through. You will be good. Keep going.
