This is my submission for this prokochallenge. I painted this with acrylic and pencil colours. Hope you enjoy it!

I really like the hand sketches in the last image, you can see both the structure and the gesture and your stroke has some character while remaining quite clean. However, I think you would have done better, and I'm talking about all the sketches you've posted, to avoid shading for now, because instead of enhancing the shape it flattened and "dirtied" what were basically pretty good sketches. Sometimes it's better to do a little less. Keep up the good work on structure and gesturing.

Hey Alejandro! Great studies, you did a great job with the likeness! I can tell who's who, even with the exaggerations. The first thing I would say is always take good photos of the artwork you're trying to share. Even if they are just studies. You are in a visual medium, so the quality of the photograph plays a huge roll in how your art is actually seen. When it's dimly lit like this, people who might've been interested in your art in person lose interest because the actual photographs of the drawings aren't clear. The next thing I'd say (I'm sure I'm the 1 billionth person to say this) but keep studying your fundamentals. Spend a lot of time just studying the Andrew Loomis head diagrams, the Assaro head, and shape. Instead of doing a bunch of studies, spend some time on one drawing really thinking about the form and how light would fall on it. I still have a lot to learn, but one of my teachers at the Watts Atelier (Ben M. Young) said to me "Spend a few hours just making a stack of boxes look cool. Sure you can have a cool idea, or try to draw something cool, but you won't be able to make complex shapes look good until you can make boxes look good". Hey there! I love these, most of the characters are perfectly recognizable. What needs some work are your lines. Work on your line quality, try to use longer, bolder lines. They tend to carry much more gesture making the overall design work better. Keep up the great work! :)
