I understand these images aren't in Proko's reference packs but was hoping I could get some feedback on these anatomy tracings! (any critiques welcome)

Im confused, is this whole part the abdominal part of the pec? I thought it just has two heads
Adil Qureshi
I get confused with that part too xD I just simplify it into one shape. Lemme know if you figure it out!

Here is the last spine assignment, had fun with this lesson. Criticism is welcomed.

Nice decisive lines! Not super knowledgeable about drawing the spine in many angles. But one thing I'd say is in the 2nd and 5th picture you appear to have drawn the spine beside the form of the pelvis and ribcage instead of *behind* it so I'd be careful about that. Not sure about the other drawings though so looking pretty good! hope that makes sense :)

Cool landscape painting! Love the brushwork variation and the sketchy aesthetic. The only thing I would say is the mountain range in the background isn't that saturated in the reference photo due to Rayleigh scattering (things further away appearing a more muted blue due to the colour of the sky). Also, Noah Bradley does some great videos on youtube about environment painting so I would look him up! Wish I could add more than that but I'm at a similar stage with landscape paintings :,) Wish you luck man!

Personally, I think you have the process of laying down values and tone which is sweet! But i think you should try to squint when looking at the reference photo to really define where the areas of dark and light should go in your piece and try to outline them a little more, this will show what planes are facing the light and which are not. In the reference photo, the image gets much lighter as it moves towards the horizon and the sea is not as dark as it is in your drawing. Hope that helps! :)

Is this better?

Yeah for some reason shading is a challenge at the moment and feel like it the last hurdle before I go pro.

I'm no expert so please ignore my advice if it is not relevant to what you would like to do in the future. But I would say you have a strong grasp on form, lighting and the colours on the fruit paintings are really nice. So i would say to study anatomy if you would like to progress with working on figure drawings/characters OR you could learn more about colour theory if you would like to progress with your paintings! hope you figure out what you would like to do!! :D

Thank you so much for your comment! I think I will study anatomy in more detail.. I really love the classical academic approach to drawing (renaissance for example..). It will be really helpful in figure drawing/portraits. And I could learn the color theory in more detail too! It will be fun :) Anyways thank you for your comment again! Have a great day (or night :))
