Can a free software offer all the tools we need for digital painting? Yes. Yes it can.
Krita came out with a major release that changed some stuff up and added some tools. I recommend folks google some youtube videos on the update in parallel to this video. The transform/warping tool changes and the perspective tool changes are great.
