Next, I introduce the split complementary palette. I explain how to structure this three-color setup and mix your hues to keep your shadows and lights consistent. You will learn how to block in temperature changes, apply ambient occlusion, and use blending modes like Linear Dodge and Overlay to build realistic bounce light. I also cover color keying.
