I think Gene Wilder's shape of face wider and shorter. I'm confused...

He says in the first few seconds of the video that he established a longer head shape to accommodate for a larger long NOSE. There is no one way of drawing caricatures, but you can learn a lot from Court and other artist when you understand their thought process.
