This is cool, @arthur whelan! Indeed, there’s something about this page that feels a bit retro to me, too. And I think this is not a bad thing! It’s great that you’re drawing in a way that you enjoy.
I tried to guess what parts you did traditionally and what parts were digital, but I couldn’t quite be sure - I’m assuming that you did the drawings and inking traditionally, and the colors digitally? Or are the colors also traditional watercolor, and the digital part was just a few general adjustments?

Thanks for your kind comments. Mostly watercolour but it is unwise to attempt glow effects that way, ask me how I know! I use Procreate to add the flourishes. After trying to create galaxies with a toothpaste and white gouache, I discovered you can get a “galaxy” brush in Procreate. Argh. Still, creating a whole new science fiction universe was never going to be anything but challenging.
