Hi, I think this is my last post here, just wanted to show some of my paintings (based on photo references). These were done on canvas in quite big sizes (from 80x60 cm to 40x40 cm). I found painting portraits really challenging, and always include some trial and error during the process. I'm a little bit afraid of putting more detail in painting, because of danger to 'draw' instead of finding colour and value. Do not have any specific inspiration for doing these, just realism, but trying to do it in a good way. (Maybe I found something painted similar, there are some old novel covers painted in guache that looks similar) Would like to thank for such a nice welcome on the platform under other posts, these gave some boost to keep doing art :)
