Hello guys and gals of prokolab, there is a question or maybe a suggestion that id like to make, are you thinking about implementing a figure drawing tool similar to quickposes.com or line-ofactions.com? If not, please give it some thought! I believe it would enrich the site a ton! Ok, quick breakedown of the tool and why we need it: Figure drawing requires frequent practise to get better at, but life drawing clases are hard to participate in regularly. For example when there arent clases nearby, have difficult workshifts or other circumstances Drawing from images can help (of course you still need life drawing to make proper use of them) but having to create a pool of images that are of good quality, setting timers and opening the images out of folders yourselfe, whenever you want to draw 60sec poses, is very impractical and I think it gets you out of flow very easily. The sites mentioned above have tools that show poses for a set amount of time, but those are of poor quality, very limited image pool and are not well maintained. Also you cant upload your own images which would solve the problem of pool size and quality (on line-of-action you can upload 100 images for some categorys, but only in the premium membership that costs you ~15 dollars). As these sites are right now, this does not feel like I get enough for that money, but I would pay that, if the site would work better and if the image pool would be better/there would be an option to upload If prokolab had a tool like that integrated, I would be visiting the site on daily basis and it would also atract a lot of newcomers. Id probably be more motivated to take lessons, practise them with the tool and share my progress or engage in discussions when i face problems. This could work in the same way as the rest of proko: let the tool be used for free but with a limited pool and configurations. In the full version id be willing to pay up to ~10$ pre month but heavily depending of usability of the tool and quality, size and variety of the image pool Thanks for reading, hope y consider this, and if you have already: THANKS A LOT!
