Hi guys! I would like to get some feedback on this portrait of Kim Young Gi because I'm thinking of doing an oil portrait of this. Do you think I got the likeness? Does anything look odd? Thanks in advance.

I recognized him right away, so I think you are capturing his likeness.

Thanks Synthia.

Wow it’s great, and it looks like an oil painting already. It took me a while to find minor “faults” in it because it’s so well done. If I have to nick pick, his jaw lacks thickness for some reason. It might have to do with the hard shadow edge on his right jaw corner? But you really captured his easy going attitude!

Thanks a bunch. I'm looking forward to working on they traditional oil painting

Thanks a lot. I might do that soon.

Looks great, instantly recognizable. The symmetry and subdued palette is very good, although the glasses lens feels large on the left bottom, and the shadows in the cheek hollows seem a little unbalanced (high on the left, lower on the right).

Thanks. I can see that now. If I make an oil in traditional, I'll make those adjustments.
