Hey there! Great work so far! I really like the silhouette, it's very clear and easy to read. It would complement the clear silhouette immensely if you'd be more economical with your shapes. Maybe you should try to make your values a bit less messy. Keep the detail on places where you want the focus (on portraits it's usually the eye) and clean up the other areas.
