Yesterday I didn't have time to post, but I worked on understanding a single pose. It was fun, though I must admit that some previous attempts were better than the last ones.
Try to go back to the simpliest idea, to watch the pose as an entire piece, then go to the mayor ideas like, longest axis, Tension, Asimetry, Csi, etc, first 3 proko gesture videos are the key, till you dont dominate them,i dont recomend passin into the next step. Hope you take the advice!
You're right, I felt like they were too stiff. Just to be sure, what do you mean by "longest axis"? I don't remember anything like it in the gesture videos.
Very nice, you've got some good lively lines happening. Seeing different attempts at the same pose is really cool, that might be a useful exercise for everyone practicing gesture.
Nice work, and it's nice to work on the same pose several times so you can compare and make adjustments. Keep it up!!
