I finished off this study sketch this morning. I've been working to study elk from taxidermy at a local museum and a mount at my aunt's house. I grew up around elk and am planning on painting a triptych this fall. I have a deep appreciation for anatomy, but have a lot to learn still! I would appreciate critique from anyone familiar with animal anatomy.
