I have heard from some pros that Constructional Drawing (drawing complex subject out of simpler shapes) is only beneficial when first learning to draw, but then becomes tedious and time consuming later. What are your thoughts on this? Would you recommend dropping it once you can "see" the simple forms without needing to draw them?
