At what point, when talking to a student, do you think someone needs coaching more than to learn every other art skills for tackling employment and freelance stuff.

A bit unrelated, but what kind of pencil are you using? it looks like a mechanical pencil, but allows for more of the edge of the graphite to be used.
I believe it's one of those 2 mm thick mechanical graphite pencils, Stan Proko talks about it in one of his videos about his art stationary on YT. It comes with a special motorized sharpener that works for graphite of that size
