Hi everyone, this time i wanted to create something original. What about a robot that is growing like a plant? Kind of crazy idea, but it really fascinated me and i had a lot of fun designing it. I even wrote a little description. Originally it was just for me as an inspiration, but now I think it would be a shame to not share it. So, for those of you who don't mind reading long text...:) Introducing SSAW, the Scalable Seeded Autonomous Warmachine. Ssaw is a robotic weapon mainly used for scouting and exploration activities although sworms of ssaws are capable of mass destruction. The seeds are deployed from a plane and after falling down in the ground they start extracting surrounding materials and converting them into parts of their bodies. After 2-3 weeks they are finished and ready to fight. For that reason ssaws are fairly cheap because you need just a fraction of materials you would use to create a normal robot to build their seeds and therefore they are widely used by several armies. The only disadvantage of ssaws is the incubation period that varies depending on the quality of the soil and in which is the machine completely vulnerable. Even after they are fully developed they can not resist much damage, but they are deadly fast, capable of jumping long distances and precise in their attack. In combat they use stinting by sharp tips of their tentacles and strong strangulation that can deform even a 15mm panzer. Their tentacle structure allows them to transform their bodies into any shape in the matter of seconds. Ssaws use this ability to confuse enemies in the combat but also as a mimicry. When the ssaw is damaged and escapes the combat it can always root back in the ground and recover as long as the seed remains undamaged. Therefore the only way to eliminate ssaw is to destroy the seed.

That's cool right there

Hey, guys! I hope I'm still on time to send my weird robot to this month's challenge /o/

My submission to the ODD BOT challenge: StiKKbot. An all-in-one simple cylindrical robot, that has everything extracting and then retracting back into his stick form. Well, actually the only function I really know he has, is the MagiK Fart, displayed here... It's his only means of defence, and I'm not really sure what it does :) Maybe you guys can help me figure it out. This is my first Proko challenge, but I'm a long time follower of the goodness on everything proko, so I've learnt tons from you, and I'm extremely happy to take part in this inspiring event. Thanks and good luck everyone.

Sorry for posting deleting and re-posting.....😳

Hi! Here is my odd bot, I thought it would be fun to try to paint something with no lines for the second time ever! The bot has no explanation, it is just… odd :)

nice!

Piano-crab bio-robot! Future Earth is an entirely underwater planet, devoid of most old forms of life. New creatures have evolved out of the detritus of human civilization and the background radiation of nuclear fallout. Here we see such a creature, an old player piano that has found parts and turned itself into a collector crab. It hunts for old antique shops deep under the water and steals away the contents to add to its wooden shell. I actually created this image for a previous proko challenge, and it didn't win anything. I thought it was perfect for the theme this month, and so I am giving it a second life! I hope you enjoy it.
