I have a question: When simplifying anything, is there a 'correct' way to interpret the shapes found in the subject? Like for example, I might see a half-circle in the subject's head, but another person might interpret it as a cut-off box. Would both interpretations in that case be considered 'correct,' or would one of them be considered the appropriate shape to be put into the drawing? Thanks!

The advantage of boxes is that they are the first phase. The circles or semicircles would come later. The boxes have straight lines and help build good perspective.

Hi Stan, it looks like the video for this lesson isn't working? I'd like to learn more about the loomis method but the video isn't loading at all for me and my Internet connection is just fine. Can you possibly look into this issue? Thank you.
