So this is not my first attempt at learning to draw but for some reason I had the motivation to actually start learning proper. I was shocked at the line-work, but I noticed that I lack skills to make the drawing look 3D... Good thing I'm here lol! First project done. Here's to many more!

This is my second attempt at "dried pomegranate". More simpler shapes than my first attempt after watching the demo.

Dried Pomegranate ~ simplified drawing. Didn't have a pear but this pomegranate was a fine challenge. My first assignment for Basic Drawing course. I feel I diluted my straight line sculpting with the 5 value shading....the shading in shape is somewhat lost. This tells me I am not sure of my observation skills. What do you think? Have you had this come up in your drawing of pear? Will check out Stan's demo and share changes to my approach.
