I'm staying home with my three year old child at the moment, and I used some of her books for illustration inspiration.

Tried once from freehand, then decided to make a sketch of the reference image so I could focus on lines. I did a hierarchy of importance, and light and shadow.
Ok after peeking at others, I feel I missed the mark on organizing the line weights by importance. Here’s a second go at it.
