Could you give me some feedback to improve the design of these characters?Hello everyone! This is my first time posting here and I'm excited to get some feedback and be part of the community . I made these characters some time ago for a fictional wacky video game to use in my portfolio. Right now I'm trying to improve the designs, so if you could give me any comments, critiques, paint overs or advice, I would totally appreciate it. Thank you for your time.
Hello Edd! I really like your character design. I specially like number 1 and 3 but I think the most important thing is to give your character a color palette that helps show your character's personality and background. For example, number 1 makes me think that it is part of royalty or at least that it has an important role in his society because the color of his armor is gold. Number 3 gives me more villain/antagonistic vibes.
Thank you for the comment, I wanted an unbiased opinion that is why i din't add context to the charater but if you are curious: Its suposed to be a traveler NPC, gentle gigant, humble character, not royalty or high society. You find him around town with some wares to sell. The belly plate is something from his culture, ornamental moslty provides little defense.
