What was Jeff Watts's reaction when you told him that you were learning to paint from a book?

Any safe way to paint and dispose of turpentine and other paint liquids? I don't have a disposal facility in my city.

Do you need to master drawing before you start painting?

Any good alternates to Conte or Wolff's carbon pencils? These are not easily available in other countries.

I think I am late for the assignment. Can I get a critique?

nice job on the proportions. The only thing I could advise you is to take your drawing a little further and round out the shapes to give the curves a softer tone. This way the face will look more feminine and more alive. The other thing you can do is render the cheek a little bit more to give it a slight gradient and it dosent look too strong. If you squint the eyes the cheekbone is very marked in your drawing. And by having so much contrast in this area, it steals the spotlight to the most important features of the face: the eyes, the nose and the lips. but very well you have a good solid base on which to keep working on.
