I felt quite confident after doing the face and hat shape. But then it seems like I messed up the right side and did the ear way too big and then all the proportions weren't working anymore. Some issues with the angles as well. It was fun though and I will do more of them.

This is my first line master study of a picture by Käthe Kollwitz. I tried to avoid any shading but many of here shading is just lines. I like how she barely draws the faces but manages to clearly show their emotions by using their posture.

I attached a try before and after the demo for the penguin and the arm. I feel like I could have done more exploration especially with the second penguin even though it looks better. I am sorry to say that I couldn't do the arm. I abandoned my first try and did it again after watching the demo but it was terrible. I tried the same technique with a picture of some whales where I think I was doing more searching and more confident lines, maybe because it was easier.
