Steven, I have a professional question. I have ulnar nerve damage in my right arm, drawing hand and I noticed that I cannot do the overhand grip without intense pain in the nerve. As a hobbyist artist will this limit the drawings and shading that I could perform. I have found a way around some of the shading problems by using a mechanical pencil in which the lead rotates and keeps the shading pretty uniform.

Was a little harder than i thought it would be but it was fun overall... i struggled a little using boxes and mostly used cylinders to structure out the bodies... some feedback on things i can improve on will help a lot <3

Asked for help
I started this journey late in life, but due to my 3D modeling hobbyist background taking 2D drawings and making them into 3D sort of comes easy. However, now since I started to drawing about a year ago I am stuck in this self taught limbo. I practice the basics in both pen and pencil daily, but now I am to the point where I have no idea in drawing progression of where to head. You can only keep practicing geometric shapes, line control, shading and cross hatching so much before your brain decides to just turn off and head into auto pilot. Any suggestions?
