for quick poses i do lots on one page.
you can fit easily 10 or more poses in one page.(and use both sides of the page)
if you are doing longer studies you can use the whole page in one figure....
but there are no rules for this XD good luck ;3

this is a second iteration on this creature ...and my son soiled the sheet so i'll start over.
any advice on the design and rendering? some intermediate excersices to boost my work?

Hi. I'm coming back to the loomis head after going through both courses because I felt that my heads were still lacking structure. I've done a couple of pages of loomis heads, and they all don't quite feel right. Any critiques would be much appreciated.
the loomis head is structure for the skull. i think they are good enough (you got the direction a general proportions right),
your heads lacking structure could be the placing of the features.
