A bit late, but better late than never!
This is my first pear before watching the demo.
I think I chose paper that was way too soft for graphite pencils, so I had a bit of a problem with differentiating the values on my paper.

Late. I feel like I started out understanding the assignment. And got lost along the way excited to see everything I can improve on. I have always had a problem with smearing maybe I drag the Side of my hand too much or something.
That looks sick! Every graphite or charcoal drawing I do I end up with smudges all of the page and on my hands

I'm an intermediate artist who mostly does pixel art wanting to tighten up my fundamentals and these are my assignments! The pear on the left was the first one, and the pear on the right and the portrait I did after watching the pear demo and critique. I still gotta go next and see Stan's approach on the portrait next.
