Hi, have you ever noticed that your friend is nothing more than a simple amalgamation of shapes? I made a couple graphics for you to look at. I hope they help you. Now you don't have to literally take the time to draw these shapes. but I just thought it would help you get an idea of the shapes you should be thinking about as you're drawing. I also did a breakdown of the ears and nose for you

wow this is incredible. since you asked for feedback the only thing I see wrong is the back leg. it's the only part of the picture that looks a little flat and there are a couple of things like it jutting out more than in the reference and the leg looking a little short in relation to the rest of the body, but I think that's fine. what's really killing that illusion of depth is the calf. if you look at the reference it's really really subtle but the calf actually wraps behind the leg. the way you've shaded it makes it suggest that it's turned too far towards us though and it's almost like we're seeing it from directly behind. there's no space at all for the shin bone . the heel direction is just a little bit off too but the biggest issue is that calf. anyways everything else looks awesome and you're probably better at anatomy than me! just something i noticed with the general shapes though, hope it helps! : )

Thanks for the advice!! The drawing you did over the reference is extremely helpful.
