Here is my progress in order at level 1. The last 3 are after watching the demo. I am not sure I am ready for level 2. Do you have any advice so I can prepare for the level 2 challenge?

My level 2 attempt. I don't have much interest in drawing people so it was hard to motivate myself for this one. The biggest challenge was that I had 5 values that were the same no matter the true value of the area. Such as the white shirt and black hair. I was not sure if I should pick the value based on how it looked or based on how much light was hitting the object. I was not confident in my value selections and I think it shows

Level 1. This was so much more challenging than I expected but I still tried. The buffalo was the most difficult one and took many tries.
I took a break and watched the livestream and demo and tried again. These are not prefect but I already see some improvement. I think I am ready to move onto the next lesson but I look forward to returning to this activity once I have more practice in getting correct proportions.
