Panel Prompt:
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Leonardo, on his way through the New York City sewer to collect his pizza delivery, noticed the pizza box has been opened and pizza has been eaten. He has his katanas drawn and is battle ready. He knows the pizza stealing culprit is still nearby!"
Simple blender model to help set up scene then drawn in pencil (2H) on 11x17 Bristol. Final touch ups done in Photoshop.
Second image is how I imagined the panel placed on the page. Any feedback would be very much appreciated.
Really cool composition. I feel like the “sewer circle” is a bit too round or we are not looking up at Leonardo enough. They kinda bug my eye a little, like they are not quite on the same perspective. But I’m being picky here. Great drawing !
Thank you. Yeah, I think that I can see what you are saying. On first look, I think may showing less of the top plan of the pecs. Probably some changes to the head could also help to reinforce the perspective.

Interesting little guy! Did you plan to do this with composition with text? Because the image placement really suggest that might be :D
Thank you. I didn't have any text in mind. I wanted to show the sewer pipe and pizza box with a full Leo, while keeping the panel from taking up most of the page. I also wanted to avoid having all three subjects perfectly straight up and down. So I ended up pushing him over and having him break the border.
