How to study cinematography?

I remember Marshall Vandruff mentioning to learn cinematography as a form of cross training. But how do you study cinematography. What can you learn from it?
This may be of help. I was looking into cinematography for making YouTube videos and found this channel. https://www.youtube.com/c/ParkerWalbeck/videos They have a course called Fulltime Filmaker that I joined and have learned a ton. If you have the money I would highly recommend it. But you can also learn a ton from many amazing cinematographers on YouTube.
