Thank you for including some of my assignments in the critique video! I'm not quite certain why I even went with darker lines, likely a habit to outline which I'm trying to get under control by going through this course. I had drawn boots and the snail after watching the demo as well, however I think my 1st attempt at the snail was better whereas shoes had some improvement.
