Amazing course Bucci, thank so much. So many valuable content here. ;)
Here I leave my self-portrait for the challenge. I hadn't used watercolors in a long time and it was a lot of fun to use them again. Opinions and advice are welcome.
Hi there, here's my entry for September's Proko Challenge. This is my first time participating in the contest, greetings from Mexico. :D
I decided to take these three images from the reference album to create a creature with a concept very similar to something in real life. The result is what I call a zombie mushroom. Insects are attracted to the aroma and taste of this fungus, but what they do not know until moments later is that it acts like a virus. The insect will die and the fungus will take control of the corpse. To begin with its control, fungi begin to grow around its body and two large antennas that will serve to direct itself. After that, it will discard the interior of the corpse, in order to then form a tail with it material. This tail will serve to reduce the weight of the body and start floating to move forward. And its second utility is to shed new spores on its way; a lot of new mushroom’s will be born around the forest and new insects will serve as spreaders of the fungus.
