my work before the demo, I tried not to look at the photo too much in the second picture, some of the line weights look a bit weird.

Hey, this looks great! Totally captured both objectives in each attempt.

This assignment was both fun and challenging. I tried to draw a secretary bird in an anthropomorphic style but struggled with the wings. Any critique would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Here is my pre demo work for the Level 1 project. For both the penguin and the robot girl, I used their heads as a reference for scale. However, when it came to the hands, I struggled with determining the correct proportions and had difficulty with construction and scaling. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations or feedback. Thank you.
All three look amazing! I think the proportions on the hand looks good! Maybe it's just a case of picking an element like you did for the other two and using that to judge the proportions? Like the pointer finger or the wrist? Or just roughly boxing it out like he did in the last assignment?

Here is my first attempt at CSI project. I had a very hard time at complex objects like a shoelaces,Would anyone happen to have any techniques I could try? , any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Love how expressive your lines are on the boots -- different weights/tones/curves. Awesome.
I'm curious about your snail though. Did you struggle with him? There seems to be a lesser quality (I don't know how else to put it). There's not as much line variance.
As for tips on the shoe laces, I think you should look at the photo again. You'll notice that a lot of them merge with each other or get lost in the tongue, and when they do connect they make a wide M shape.
Anyways, great work!

Hey Anawin! I am struggeling aswell doing it right now. Can tell you it is not fun. But after you finished a piece it feels good - right? I love how you do folds very smooth. How to draw complex things - well try to simplify them. Do a quick sketch which is total off but gives me the vibes of the image. I learned in this lesson don't overthink objects try to represent them as easy as you can - details comes later and no one is going to compare your laces with them on the image. Keep it simple. I like your laces they are better than mine by the way. But you may erease a few lines where the lanes go under an object. When an object is front of another one you won't see the lines behind it. The first lace of the left shoe shoes how to do it correctly. The last thing I have noticed is that you cut of the tail of the snail - watch out for that. Hope it helps. Keep on going!
