hey everyone this is my entry .... As an artist what I love the most is how much of ourselves we put in everything we create, also anime and graffiti art have made a huge impact on me. So I decided to do a movie about my life around that. A classic adventure anime battle thing.  the premise of my movie is "what will happen if our creations can come to life if someone believes in them". In a world where there are powerful girls call muses, who have the power to bestow life to certain creations that expel a special aura that can only be granted by the artist who cares and have a strong feeling towards it. This power can be easily corrupt, so now the muses are been haunted down to harvest their power but one of these girls called LUNA has found a guardian with a particular type of art and with little self-esteem but with a great heart, that can bring balance to the world and he only needed one person who believes in him.

My submission for Proko challenge, it was made with blender and photoshop, here the WIP: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/3dGxlo The concept is the "shift" that happened when my girlfriend entered my life. She helped with my social anxiety represented here by the dark side of the city. Also the city and the bench are used to allude my profession, architecture, which is also a big part of my life. The movie would be something like a slice-of-life/thriller.

amazing work .. i would have loved to see a bit more of your girlfriend relation or representation on your poster ... but really amazing job .. i love it as a poster

Here is my life movie poster done in my typical digital painting style. Here is a little background… in real life I’m an engineer with a doctorate in engineering biomechanics (basically the physics of human movement). I am also a martial arts nerd. I have a brown belt in taekwondo, and I have studied some Brazilian jiu jitsu and some filipino martial arts. I grew up watching martial arts movies. Naturally my movie would be a combination of engineering and martial arts. The title is Second Law, which the equations dealing with this kick would be impulse and momentum (it’s the equation in the lower left if you care), which is just a variation of Newton’s second law. The title would also be based on the story line that it is me doing a come back to win after focusing more on fighting from an engineering perspective (basically like the matrix… only I see things in engineering equations). My co-star, Bill Wallace, is a little nod to Bill “superfoot” Wallace. He was a martial artist that I admired as a child. I also could not resist the classic B movie cheesy tag line as a nod to theoretical physics. I had a lot of fun with this challenge, and I hope you enjoy!

awesome way of integrating all those parts of your life .... also the composition and distribution are really nice .. the only thing that bothers me is that .. the head of the person in the air is aligning too on point with the arm of the back.. giving me the feeling that is coming out of his head .. but other than that amazing job

this is my update ... I will work a bit more on some details ..but the general idea is there i think ... any feedback is welcomed . :)

Damn, you're fast! And it's looking great! Do you plan to take it to a more realistic render? I don't know what critisize... The colors look good, maybe the girl in the back could be more contrasted so she would pop out more but i'm not sure you'd want that. That electricity belt taht cuts through panda seems a bit distracting and not clear what it is. Trying to be helpful but lacking in knowledge, it's hard to say if something could be better much less explain how to make it soXD great job!

How does it feel to you so far, before I render it out? Not too sure about the title/logo thing on the top. Maybe I'll get rid of the texture? (might have taken some artistic liberties with the ''your life'' part of the assignment:) just a bit:D)

awesome idea development .... I like the vibe and the lighting ... although I will suggest give it a little more space between the title and the top border, is too close right now... I don't really like the 10 thousand hours phrase treatment is too Microsoft word ..... other than that .. a pretty nice entry. :)

I think I'm pretty close to the limits of my ability now! Thanks everyone for the feedback, I've made some changes and added colour (this is the first time I've actually coloured something seriously digitally...): - Made it portrait to fit movie poster theme better - Changed land mass to be more like earth and less like the DragonRiders source material - Made space for the lettering and added some example title (a take-off of the DragonRiders of Pern book) and writing to the second image (I'm not a writer if it's not obvious :P) -- As earlier, the theme is fantasy, inspired by the Anne McCaffrey Dragon books combined with my love of observing insects, wasps in particular. Feedback welcome, I'm starting to fiddle too much with little bits so need the big issues pointed out to me. I didn't think I'd enter this contest as this amount of work scares me, but I'm having fun and glad I did :)

i like the distribution of the ellements specially with the letters .. but i will agree with @rokdem that i would like to see more of the protagonist right now is quite small and i can't connect or relate .... i would also check the wasp proportions it feels more like an ant to me right know ....... but really nice work :)
@rokdem
Ok, so i had a handfull of ideas, but whatever idea i follow, i come to the parody genre. So the idea i'm going with is warcraft parody. I tried different poses and settled for the one i'm drawing-a warrior orc, living in a westernized orc clan, with his mate giving him shopping bags to hold so she can continue her shopping spree while their young is drawing hearts or something sweet on his war hammer. Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas?
Edwin Lozano
it is an interesting idea ... I really like the interaction between characters ... but i'm not quite sure of the proportion of the kids ... they feel quite small .... and the strong diagonal of the hammer is too strong right now ... but other than that ..pretty nice :)

hey everyone ... here is what I have so far ..my life movie poster is based on a classical anime battle adventure. That s base on the premise "What will happen if your art can come to life?". In a world where there are special girls called muses who has the power to bring art to life that expels a certain special aura that can only be granted when the artist love and care for his art to a high degree ....one of these special girls believe in the art of the protagonist and choose him to be her guardian against malevolous entities that wants the power of the muses to rule and change the very nature of our world.  pretty basic. hahaha tell me what you think.

Hey, i have no problems connecting what you wrote with the second image (with panda in the background) while the first one is far less explainatory... So i'd vote for panda;)
