In this premium demo, we explore creating composition thumbnails using markers to focus on values. Using a red-gray set of markers, we'll work through a piece featuring a sorcerer, exploring varying background darkness, adjusting contrasts, simplifying shapes to enhance the silhouette, and light sources.

There aren't many posts, so I don't think there will be one. Maybe when more than 20 persons send in their work it's worth to make one.
I would have loved to see more posts on the demo thread.
I liked your digital painting thumbnails :)

Watching these, I realize how much more I need to play around before I settle on something. It was good to hear that Stan takes a while to decide, takes a walk, comes back, tries a few more, before getting down to the actual painting. I definitely have a tendency to go straight for something I like, and while there is value in that, maybe more patience and planning might yield better result.

The planning process allows you to get out as much ideas that you have as possible. It can also be good to go straight into something but it can lead to being struck as you don't know how to continue. Goodluck on your journey in art!
