It’s been great looking at everyone’s homework for this. Lots of great work, and very helpful to see the range of different subjects and approaches. Anyway, I followed Marshall’s advice and just focused on very simple things. Baby steps, I guess.

Here we are distilling the wisdom of this lesson into blobs. I experimented further with the blob approach, starting by dividing the blob shape into a black and white side to better understand its orientation. It's been fun trying to connect the perspective knowledge from earlier to this exercise!
I created some progress charts to illustrate my thought process—maybe they'll be helpful for you!

Playing with blobs and boxes, cross contour lines and scooping out.
For some reason I find the transition from blob to box harder than just 3D-fying blobs on their own and then drawing a corresponding boxy shapes. It's like I can't 'see' the box inside/on top of the blob.

That’s interesting, I think it’s easier for me to imagine the box after drawing the blob rather than skipping straight to the box.

Lesson day is happy day😄👍🏻 . First watch and draw along for better knowledge infusion, then work it out and get some mileage. Next perhaps some variations on the theme would be the way to go🙂

Uh oh! I thought I was better than the blob. Turns up I was not. I understood it better after blobbing
