My attempt at the project :)
The lighting on the body was tricky to figure out, in comparison to the head. I feel like I chose the line weight mostly randomly on the body...
In the hierarchy of importance, I think using more middle-weight lines would have improved the image. Probably around the eye and the mouth.

My attempt at the pear. Done digitally, but I limited myself to just a pencil and occasional eraser.
I don't really get how to do shading/hatching. It was really difficult to make it even.
The shadow turned out wonky.
Hatching can look cool, but I don’t think you have to use hatching for this project. You can block in each area with your value of choice.
I think your shadow looks good. It is a simplified shape. The only think I would change about it is to make the bottom part of it that is closer to the back of the pear a little narrower.
