Level one submission. I spent too long on these lol. My proportions were off and I kept having to go back to try and fix it. I'll keep practicing the other poses in between lessons. This was a fun one though!

Level 1 submission. I had a lot of fun with this project. I think some seals turned out better than others but still happy with them. I just had my second son earlier this month so taking care of him and playing with my two year old all day has made it more challenging to find time to practice drawing and do assignments. I mostly draw right before bed when both kids are finally asleep and helps me unwind from the busy day lol. Looking forward to the critique!

I felt very intimidated when I first started this assignment, but I enjoyed the challenge. First time ever measuring something while drawing lol.

I first saw Peter Han on Prokos YouTube page and really liked his style from one of the demos he did. I decided to try one of Peter's drawings of Leonardo. I was also a big Ninja Turtles fan as a kid so figured it was a good choice. I felt it was too intimidating for me to do the entire drawing of Leo being a level one student,- so I focused on the head. It was fun to draw, but I hope it's not too messy!

Lol I feel I fell for that stripe trap. Thanks for these demos! It’s motivating to watch you explain your approach so I can go back and see my mistakes and retry the project.

I think the light and shadows tripped me up, but it was a fun project. The hours just fly by when I'm doing them lol.

Playing catch up on a couple days. Didn't really know how to do the splash on the elephant but I was mainly focusing on the shapes!

This was great! I learned a lot from this demo and what I can improve on. I know I focused too much on lines when I was doing the assignment instead of picturing the bigger picture in my head.
