Asked for help
this is hard to understand what im looking for when i draw the figure .i feel like im copying the outer lines shape of the image im looking at.
Melanie Scearce
I think what you have here is great for this project. The figure is a very complex subject that takes years to fully understand. Seeing the energy and motion of a pose is much easier, and only needs simple lines to be shown. You found some really nice rhythms here. I did notice that your lines are a bit hairy in some places, but that can be avoided by slowing down, being really conscious about where you place your lines, and concentrating on making long, light and loose strokes. Overall, great job!

this was hard i dont know if got the dynamic drawing down or right shapes any advice would be nice il keep watching the video .
Melanie Scearce
Definitely continue practicing -- these skills will develop over time with lots of mileage. That said, you have the right idea! Remember that form follows function, try to think about the energy of the pose and design your shapes to support that. It may be helpful to include your reference images in future posts if you used any :)

Rachel Dawn Owens
These are looking nice 👍 Heres a quick tip for scaling your drawings. Keep the measurements as simple as you can to start.

my first try at this project any little advice or help would be very appreciated
Rachel Dawn Owens
This is perfect! The separation between the 3 values is clear and clean. If you want to take your drawing to the next level, you can add 2 more values to the mix. Heres a draw over to help- Keep it up! Nice work!
