Sorry for the re-upload but I saw some things that needed fixing and the pictures didn't look great so I re-shot. Hi. My name is Ken Lawson. I have been doing drawing and painting my whole life and decided a couple years ago to try sculpture so that I could do a Sideshow style sculpture of the bass player of The Warning. I always jump in head first like an idiot. I worked on it off and on for a year and a half learning, re-doing and refining. I've always done portrait work so it was right up my alley and I liked that it was all about detail. Hope you like it. It was done in Monster clay with foil and paper filler as well as a thick concrete bit to stabilize it through the leg so that it didn't need support other that the pedestal.
