Here are my attempts at the pear assignment, before watching the demo and after. I’m definitely more of an intermediate student, but I struggle getting a wide range of values, so I wanted to try the pear before jumping into the portrait. I think my second attempt comes a little closer to capturing the value range of the reference photo, but I’d love to hear any critiques you have!
