Hello all! I tried to do the optical illusion I attached but at some point something went wrong with the size of the cube and the overlap was too much to work with, but I completed the image nonetheless, although something still looks off and I can't quite put my finger on it. Still, had a lot of fun with it and I'm happy to start getting my feet wet with perspective, will try again with different illusions I've seen online and keep practicing I also did the basic isometric cubes and those were quite fun as well

I had a hiatus as I had a very difficult period lately work related, but now I'm back at it. Here is my assignment after Mike Mignola, critiques appreciated

Here is my submission! I did it in the following order: penguin, hand and lastly VR girl. Had a lot of fun doing this drawings, they take a lot of time and do one per day in the time I have left after work and daily chores so I end up pretty exhausted but having fun all through it. I'm open to critiques, now I'll begin planning the level 2 assignment, already have some fun ideas for it :) Happy drawing everyone :)

Here are my level 1s. For the boots I think I simplified well enough before the laces, but then I got sucked in the details of those and might have complicated myself a bit but I like the finished drawing so I'm pretty happy. Open to critiques, feel free to leave a comment if you have some pointers :) I'll try level 2s as well and probably add them as a child comment to this submission. Happy drawing everyone :)

And finally, the camel. I liked how this came out very much, initially I did a very rough and light sketch of the basic forms to guide myself in the proportions and not do the drawing way bigger than the page and managed to do a drawing of the size I wanted. Overall, very happy with it :)

Here's my skull attempt. A thing I struggle a lot with is planning the size of my drawing, I always make them so large they don't even fit in the page :/ Any advice on this?

Did some exercises following Bridgman's book. Had fun doing this and I'm also trying to find my mistakes after I'm finished with the drawing. Will try to draw everyday for two weeks but I might not make it since somedays I end up too exhausted from work

It was certainly more difficult than I expected but it was fun. I rushed some and need to work on that. Handling the pressure of the pencil was too difficult for me so far but will keep practicing PD. Ignore the boxman in the first picture hehe

Here is my attempt at pear number 3. First time doing something like this, had a lot of fun shading and liked the result. I'm open to critiques, will be attempting other pears as well to keep practicing

Drew the other two pears as well, here they are
