A few from this morning. I would attempt the video examples before stan drew them then correct my mistakes as he drew.
I used more of the gestural torso approach in the top left corner as demonstrated in the drawing basic course.
Will need more practice on showing the oblique and flank fat pinching.

A couple of first attempts at robo bean. Just got caught done doing gestural torsos in the basics course. This is pretty much the same assignment.
the way the skin droops between the pointy aspects of the lower rib and asis makes it feel very believable.
will need to avoid elongating my torsos, bottom two have too much space between the two blocks

Well, I tried my best. Rib cage of the figure in frontal view is definitely to wide, but I'm pretty satisfied with the perspective. In my experience, when it comes to establish the two blocks for pelvis and torso, it's easier to first determine the plane closest to the viewer. That is a good starting point to see, how each block is situated in space. It's still hard though ...

these are the 4 poses seen on the video. 1st attempt is observing the model, 2nd is looking at Prokos interpretation and 3rd is once again just looking at the model. Any feedback is greatly appreciated if you go over mine I'll gladly go over yours :)

Maybe try to use thinner lines? Your lines are a bit ambiguous and cartoony in my opinion. Just try it and see what happens ((:

on the first one, (in the video) I feel like Stan's version of it is a bit off, the angle of the stretch on the left is very much exaggerated but yours is much better i think :)

Could someone check my landmarks / corners of my Robo bean for me? 🙏🏽🙏🏽 I started doing a few and then I realised that I'm not really sure where the corners of the boxes should be so I went back to the actual photos of the models to see if I could identify the landmarks....

I would say that these look pretty good! One thing to look out for is perspective. Such as for the ribcage box; the top plane doesn't align with the way the side and front plane are angled. I would say the points of where the landmarks are, are correct, but the perspective is just a little off.

I have a question, how do I make the connection from the bean to robo-bean? I am trying to draw the bean and from there get the version of robo bean but in the videos Stan goes Straight to the robo bean skipping the bean, or so i think, can someone explain me how to understand transition from the bean to robo bean?

Check out the critique video at the end of the section ! Marshall explains quite well how to go from ovoids to boxes, it helped me a lot.
