Painting Light 103 is the next step in learning after Painting Light 101 & Painting Light 102. In this third part of the trilogy Painting Light series, I finally get to the topics I am most excited about... visual storytelling with light.

In this ADVANCED class I will cover the concepts of beauty, composition, visual storytelling, character lighting, environment lighting, advanced color theory, color keys, and final polish of illustrations. The course is meant for artists who already know how to paint and understand light and color basics, and will take your art to new levels.

It is not required but highly recommended that you have completed Painting Light 101 and 102 before starting Painting Light 103

Do I need to know how to paint before taking this class?

Yes, this is an advanced level course that builds on the previous Painting Light sessions and so it is expected that you know how to paint before starting Painting Light 103
